Our legacy
Eight Decades of Faith in Baltimore
On November 25, 1945, a group of concerned neighbors gathered at 1700 Bob White Avenue with a simple desire — a place to worship with their families. From those humble beginnings, First Christian Community Baptist Church has grown, moved, persevered, and thrived. In 1975, we marched into our current home on Groveland Avenue. In 1980, we burned the mortgage. Today, we carry that legacy forward.
